Research has proven that youth organizations can influence children’s lives, and every community deserves to have positive youth groups that help them to develop and/or maintain hope and aspiration for a successful future. For many communities, these centers become a “Beacon of Hope” because they are places where children are valued, affirmed, encouraged, and trained daily by community influencers who work to meet individual needs. The “Beacon of Hope” organization is viewed by its children, parents, and community as a positive place that has the keys to a successful future, and they are accessible to every youth who attends. Sometimes, circumstances cause a decline in those aspects of hope that make up the youth organization’s positive culture, and there is a need for revitalization. The aim of this program is to assist youth organizations in revitalizing a culture of hope where every child has the attitude that “I have the Promise of Greatness”.
To work with school and business clients to accomplish powerful, long-lasting improvement in their organizations and to design, plan, implement and assess programs for youths in “At-Risk” schools and communities
It takes systematic actions in the youth organization’s environment, over time, to impact its culture. This training program is designed to equip the staff, youth, and environment with positive actions and imagery with multi-sensory appeal in order to change thinking thereby producing positive actions. These repetitive actions will replace old ones and become new positive habits. These habits will become the children’s character giving them the hope, tenacity, and skills to succeed in school and life. The activities the children and staff will experience in this program will have a lasting positive impact because people will remember more of what they see, what they hear, and how it makes them feel.
